Pembroke RV and Boat Storage

Storage Tips

Seal all windows, vents and small holes to prevent pests and rodents from sneaking inside.
Disconnect the batteries. By removing batteries and charging them periodically, you will prevent them from losing charge and you will not need to buy a replacement as frequently.
Use chock blocks. Chock blocks are made of wood, rubber, or plastic, and are placed behind and around tires to prevent a vehicle from moving while it is parked.
Check the pressure of all tires and check for dry rot. Cover any tires that will be exposed to the elements.
Make sure to remove all perishable items from any cabinets, refrigerators, or other parts of the vehicle.
Turn off supply valves and appliances. Keep any vents open. If stored for an extended period, make sure to inspect your propane system before use!
Be sure the slides are in, and all blinds and shades are closed.
